Staging for Sale

Staging a home for sale is a proven, effective marketing tool and, when done right, can dramatically increase the chances that the property will sell quickly and for more money.
I believe that staging is much more than decluttering and cleaning. I also believe that neutral begets neutral. This means that creating a space with neutral colors, shapes and lighting will result in a neutral response. This will not sell your home.
What will sell your home is emotions. Every color, shape and light will evoke an emotion in the audience. I am an expert in using these tools and will do my best to turn your home into a marketable product with the least amount of disruption to your family and your daily life.

Redesign

Unlike Staging for Sale we will not try to evoke emotion in anybody else but you. You and your family have your favorite colors, shapes and lighting for a reason - they make you feel good. I will work with you to learn what elements of design have the most positive effect on you and we will work together to create a home made perfectly and solely for you. By using the things already in your home we will be able to keep costs at a minimum and I will teach you how to use every day items for new purposes.
Together we will breathe new life into your home.

Home Care

This service holds a special place in my heart. I offer advice on creating spaces for those with chronic illnesses associated with aging such as Dimentia and Alzheimer's. I address the needs of those enduring the illness and their caretakers.
Did you know that many seniors require three times more light than a middle aged person? Did you know that by painting the trim around the door of the patient's bedroom it can help him remember which room is the one he sleeps in? Even placing alternating colors and textures on steps can be the difference between a trip to the hospital because of a nasty fall and a trip to the bathroom. There are many, many ways to help those dealing with these progressive diseases.
It's critical to begin changes in the home early and to continue making changes as needed. Preparing the home is not difficult if you know what to do.
